Bird Banding

Join Dr. Claire Ramos and her students from Colorado State University Pueblo as we learn about the birds of the Garden of the Gods. During this bird banding demonstration, you will learn how her team safely catches birds and collects scientific information, while getting to observe the birds up close. No previous experience is necessary for this event. Advanced registration required. There will be 2 demonstrations, beginning at 7 am and at 8 am. Each demonstration will last approximately 1 hour. This program is weather-dependent and will be cancelled in the event of poor weather for the safety of the birds
