April Concert

Our April concert continues our season exploring musical genres with “R&B”.
Music by composers whose names begin with R&B! The concert features our two winners of the youth concerto competition. Stacy Bahn will perform the 1st movement of the Dvorak Violin Concerto in A minor. Abby Nelson will perform the 1st movement of the Haydn Cello Concerto in C major. The concert includes: Beethoven “Coriolan Overture”, Borodin “Symphony 2”, Ravel “Bolero”, and Rossini “Barber of Seville Overture”. Our Music Director, Dr. Luciano R. Silvestri, Jr., will provide interesting background information about the pieces we will perform beginning at 2:15 before the concert.
