Event Summary
A fun coed team format. Prizes for best team name, best costumes, best team spirit.
This is not your typical pickleball tournament; it's an exciting team-based event (4 people per team) suited for all skill levels. Teams are highly encouraged to consist of 2 men and 2 women. In special circumstances, teams may consist of more than 2 women, but may never consist of more than 2 men. Teams will rotate playing other teams in their skill division in a series of 4 games, which we will call a team match (if you're familiar with the MLP format, this is basically the same format). This is the order that the 4 games will be played: women's doubles, men's double, and then 2 games of mixed doubles (one of each gender). Each team will play a minimum of 3 team matches during the round robin portion, which means each individual player will play a minimum of 6 total games (2 games against each team).
We have four skill divisions:
Beginner (2.0-2.99)
Intermediate (3.0-3.49)
Intermediate+ (3.5-3.99)
Advanced (4.0+)
