Event Summary
We’re thrilled to welcome you to Victor, Colorado, as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Victor Celebrates the Arts (VCTA)!
This year’s event brings together plein air artists from across the country to capture the beauty and history of our charming mountain town. Both professional and emerging artists will paint on location throughout Victor and the surrounding legendary gold mining sites from the 1890s.
Live Painting Events
Don’t miss the excitement of our signature live painting competitions:
Brush Rush and Quick Draw
Sunday & Monday | 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
All artwork featured in the VCTA Show & Sale will be created en plein air—painted onsite, directly from life—within a 10-mile radius of Victor City Hall during the week leading up to the event. Original works will be available for purchase in our gallery and judged by a respected professional artist. As in past years, we anticipate dozens of talented participants and will present over 20 awards, with more than $4,000 in cash prizes. Thousands of visitors from across the country attend each year to enjoy the art, meet the artists, and watch them bring Victor’s rich history and stunning landscapes to life.
