Peterson Air & Space Museum
The Peterson Air and Space Museum Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to:
•Fostering and perpetuating the Peterson Museum as a medium for informing and educating the public on the history and heritage of the early history of Colorado Springs and the missions associated with Peterson Air Force Base.
•Serving as a philanthropic corporation in assisting the development and expansion of the facilities of the Peterson Museum.
•Receiving, holding, and administering gifts in the best interest of the Peterson Museum.
Due to security conditions, access to the Museum is restricted to (1) Visitors with military identification or visitors escorted by DOD cardholders. (2) Click here for non - military ID card holders instructions for gaining base museum access. Please call to check on current base access procedures. Tour groups should contact the Museum Curator (719-556-4915) for base access arrangements. Admission to the museum and airpark is free.

We preserve and portray the rich aviation and space history of Colorado Springs and Peterson Air Force Base. From our barnstormer beginnings in the Roaring Twenties, through the daring exploits of our World War II pilots and into the modern space era, our exhibits are sure to capture your attention. 9:00 AM - 4:00 pm, Tuesday - Saturday.
