What is the Crafts & Drafts Passport?
This is a free digital craft beverage passport full of deals and discounts to various craft breweries, distilleries, wineries, taprooms and coffee shops around the Pikes Peak Region.

Is it really free?
YES! This passport is 100% free for users to participate.

Who can participate in the program?
Any local brewery, distillery, coffee shop, winery/wine bar, taproom or cocktail lounge is eligible to participate.

Is there a cost to participate as a location on the Passport?
The Crafts & Drafts Passport is FREE for Visit COS marketing partners. The cost for non-partners is $200. If a non-partner participates in the program and wishes to join as a marketing partner, we will roll that $200 into your partnership dues.

What is needed to participate?
Any participating business just needs to offer a deal or discount to passport holders from the launch of the program (May 15, 2024) through the end of the year. This year, participating businesses can choose between a menu of deals, including:

  • BOGO (beverage of your choosing)
  • Free Flight
  • Free Tasting
  • 50% off an item of your choosing
  • Free drink with an entree or app purchase

These can be one-time offers, or repeating. It's up to you and what's best for your business.

How does the Passport work?
The web app lives on the user's phone and geo-fences their location. Once a user is at a participating location, they are able to "redeem" their deal by showing their phone to their server/bartender.

How long is the program?
This annual program runs mid-May (May 15, to be exact) through the end of the year. All deals must be valid through December 31.

How does this passport benefit the participating businesses?
Participants enjoy free publicity and advertising as well as extra incentives for users to visit your business and create brand loyalty. Visit COS spends a ton of our advertising dollars with our top-notch ad agency to get this Passport in front of millions of people across the Front Range.

Tips & Tricks

Get the most out of the Crafts & Drafts Passport

  • Promote the passport and brag about being on it! You can help get the word out by posting about it on your social channels and letting your loyal followers know about the deals.
  • Display our posters and table tents at your business. We will be supplying posters and table tents with QR codes for users to sign up for the Passport. Displaying these in your business helps spread the word and earn some serious brand loyalty!
  • Train your staff! We can't emphasize how important it is to make sure everyone on your staff understands the passport and is comfortable with it. We promise it's super simple! We even give onboarding packets to ensure it's easy and painless for you and your staff. Showing your passport to a server and having them say they don't know what it is is a real bummer. And if we get numerous reports that the location doesn't know what to do with the passport, we'll have to remove your business from the program.
