One of the most popular Colorado Springs Memorial Day activities is Territory Days. Celebrating 40 years in 2015, this free family-friendly event held in Old Colorado City has been bringing in top-notch live performers and entertaining the masses. Enjoy 180 vendor booths with food, drinks, crafts, activities and more. A National Moment of Remembrance will be held in Bancroft Park on Monday, May 30th at 3pm.

The 3rd annual Create Canon City Balloon Classic is a not-to-be-missed event held on the grounds of The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey (2951 US Highway 50). Enjoy great food, award winning wines and see the works of local artisans. Watch balloon launches, skydivers and kite flying by Connor Doran. Enjoy a great music lineup on Saturday and Sunday. Participate in a 5K Run/Walk on Skyline Drive on Saturday. Take a Monastery Tour Saturday or Sunday. Bring the kids! They can launch model rockets and play in the Kids' Zone. Stay in the evening for Balloon Glows and the Abbey Glow.

This annual event at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has the largest plant selection on the mountain, with incredible prices. Proceeds from the event go toward supporting the Horticulture Department, and the Zoo’s Horticulture Staff is on hand to answer gardening questions. The Plant Sale features over 250 varieties of resource-wise perennials, grasses, and herbs that perform well in the Pikes Peak region. Check online for pre-ordering. 3 Days, 20+ Bands, 1 Big Tent! One of Colorado's most eclectic music festivals will be held at the LaForet Conference & Retreat Center in Black Forest. The 8th annual MeadowGrass Music Festival will feature performances from more than 20 national, regional and local artisits, music workshops, yoga, kid's activities, and camping. Bring your blankets and camp chairs - the festival takes place rain or shine.

Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society will be hosting a Buffalo Soldier Commemoration at the Spanish American War site from 11:45am-12 Noon with the 10th US Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers. The event begins at approximately 9:30am and will conclude 12:30-1:00pm. Events include the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution at 10am, watch historic reenactors, view World War II history displays in the historic Evergreen Chapel and reflect on the lives who gave all. A butterfly release will end the ceremonies at approximately 12:30-1:00pm.

The Manitou Springs Heritage Center's newest exhibit, Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway 1891-2016: 125 years on the Peak opens Friday, May 27th. In 1891, the Cog Railway operated the first steam train to climb from Manitou Springs to the Summit of Pikes Peak. Step back in time at this historic exhibit.

Global music sensation Celtic Woman is bringing their enchanting world concert tour to the Pikes Peak Center. Featuring music from their brand new album, Destiny, these four sublimely gifted Irish women - three volcalists and a violinist are accompanied by a group of equally talented musicians and dancers.

Now's your chance to learn fly fishing basics in a free fly fishing Orvis 101 class. Free lessons on fly fishing basics, equipment and outfit rigging and some casting instruction. This is a one-hour class that includes 20-30 minutes of casting designed to give you a taste of fly fishing. Presented by Angler's Covey.
