About the Festival

Join the Cripple Creek community as 160-pound blocks of ice are transformed into each year's various themes. Don't forget to stop by the main event tent, where you can purchase votes for your favorite ice sculptures.

The 2020 theme is "Carver's Choice!" The event will run from Saturday, February 8th to Sunday, February 16th with ice-carving viewing throughout the week.

Fun activities will be available for the event patrons of all ages. The ice maze, ice slide and interactive ice sculptures make this event perfect for photo opportunities and hours of fun. Be sure to visit their craft and food vendors in the main event tent and in the main event area, and warm up at the Ice Martini Bar, complete with an ice luge.
