AVENUE CREATIVE CIRCUIT

Downtown Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs make up the Avenue Creative Circuit: a series of arts-dense communities connected by Colorado Avenue. Below are a few ways to explore the Creative Circuit.

Art on the Streets - Enjoy the rotating outdoor installations of Art on the Streets. Pieces are located throughout Downtown to enjoy at your leisure year-round and guided tours are given in the summer.
First Friday in Downtown - Head Downtown on the the first Friday of each month to explore over 20 local galleries displaying art of all kinds from 5-9pm.
First Friday in Old Colorado City – From April to December, Old Colorado City’s Art Walk takes place on the first Friday of each month from 5-8pm. This self-guided tour features art galleries and open artist studios along Colorado Avenue between 23rd and 27th streets.
First Friday Art Walks in Manitou Springs – Explore Colorado Springs' first Certified Creative District during a First Friday Art Walk, taking place April-December from 5-9pm.

KNOB HILL URBAN ARTS DISTRICT

First Friday in Knob Hill - Just 10 minutes east of Downtown Colorado Springs, you'll find Knob Hill Urban Arts District. Covered in nearly 60 murals, the stretch of East Platte is home to unique art spaces like Zonefive, Shutter & Strum and Platte Collections. When exploring Knob Hill on First Friday, you can also catch live music at the nearby venues: The Black Sheep, Vultures and What's Left Records.

WOODLAND PARK

Just 20 minutes west of Manitou Springs, Woodland Park Art Gallery has 8+ locations featuring original artwork on First Friday. It also kicks off the "Art Weekend in Woodland" with art studio tours, art activities and an art gala on Saturday at Reserve Our Gallery.

MONUMENT

Enjoy Art Hop the fourth Friday of each month from May through September. Galleries, restaurants and boutiques of historic downtown Monument stay open until 8pm for a celebration featuring art openings, book signings, great food, live music and other special events.
