The Section 16 Trail (also called the Palmer/Red Rock Loop Trail) is a popular trail for both hikers and mountain bikers. This is a great year-round trail with good views of the Garden of the Gods and easy access to the Paul Intemann Trail.
Directions to Trailhead:
From U.S. Highway 24, take 26th Street south, drive past the cemetery, up two switchbacks to Gold Camp Road. Turn west onto Gold Camp and drive about 1 mile to the trailhead.
