Hosmer Visitor Center
Overview
The U.S. Air Force Academy’s new visitor center will open its doors on May 16, 2026. The General Bradley and Zita Hosmer Visitor Center will serve as the gateway to Colorado Springs, Olympic City USA. Located just outside the Academy’s North Gate, it will offer easy access to visitors, with no base entry required.
The 34,000-square-foot center will offer an immersive experience into the 47-month cadet journey and the Academy experience, highlighting the legacy of the Long Blue Line and the importance of selfless service.
Inside, themed galleries feature interactive exhibits designed to engage visitors of all ages. Guests can explore the meaning behind a class crest, reflect while listening to Air Force and Space Force core values, watch dynamic video presentations on oversized screens, and discover career opportunities through the Polaris Star interactive display.
