Colorado Springs Film Commission
Overview
The Colorado Springs Film Commission, a program of Visit Colorado Springs, is dedicated to supporting film, television, commercial, documentary and digital media productions throughout the Pikes Peak Region. Whether you're an independent filmmaker, production company or studio, we're here to help make filming in our region as seamless and successful as possible.
Our team serves as a central resource for productions of all sizes by connecting filmmakers with the people, places and information they need to bring their stories to life. We assist with finding location scouts, provide guidance on filming permits, connect productions with local government agencies and introduce filmmakers to experienced crew members, production companies and specialized service providers throughout the region.
The Film Commission also works to strengthen the local film ecosystem by maintaining a searchable directory of film professionals, showcasing the region's diverse filming locations, promoting networking events, educational opportunities and film festivals, and sharing casting calls and production opportunities as they become available. Through these efforts, we help foster collaboration among filmmakers, actors, crew members, students and industry organizations while supporting the continued growth of the region's creative economy.
From the iconic beauty of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods to historic districts, vibrant downtown streets, scenic landscapes and quaint neighborhoods, the Pikes Peak Region offers an extraordinary variety of cinematic settings within a short drive. Combined with a talented local workforce, a film-friendly community and easy access to production resources, Colorado Springs is an exceptional place to create.
Whether you're planning your first shoot or your next feature production, the Colorado Springs Film Commission is your partner in bringing creative visions to life while showcasing the beauty and talent of the Pikes Peak Region.
