Territory Days in Colorado Springs is held every Memorial Day weekend in historic Old Colorado City
located on the west side of Colorado Springs. 2013 marks the 38th
annual Territory Days and will feature over 180 food and craft booths, live music, a kids’ play area and petting zoo and much more. See the performances by Native American dancers, Wild West gunfight re-enactments and live black smith demonstrations. Territory Days in Colorado Springs has plenty of food and entertainment for the entire family.
Territory Days in Colorado Springs began in 1975 as the "Rampart Range Sertoma Territory Days Parade and Buffalo Barbeque". The name was later changed to in order to commemorate Old Colorado City as the first capitol of the Colorado Territory in 1861. From its humble beginnings, Territory Days has grown from a small neighborhood craft fair into a three-day street festival which now hosts over 180 booths. Between 80,000 and 150,000 guests, enjoy this event every Memorial weekend.
