With an abundance of land to hike, North Cheyenne Cañon Park offers visitors and locals opportunities for outdoor adventure.
Donated by town founder, General William Jackson Palmer in 1885, North Cheyenne Cañon Park includes Silve Bridges Trail, Columbine Trail, St. Mary's Falls Trail, Helen Hunt Falls, and more. Considered by the Park Commission to be "by far the grandest and most popular of all the beautiful cañons near the city."
With over 56 miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking and a scenic drive visitors and locals can make a day out of visiting the park. Stop by the Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center to learn more about the history of the park and pack a picnic basket for the various picnic areas are throughout the park.
