Event Summary
The Manitou Springs Heritage Museum will present “The Women of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb” leading up to the June 21 race. Learn more about Loni Unser, who continues to blaze the trail for her legendary racing family, and other pioneering women including Michelle Mouton, who paved the way for her female successors.
The exhibit will include exciting race photos, including ones taken by Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Jackson. Watch our collection of PPIHC videos, including the award-winning “The Ari Vatanen Climb Dance” and the “Vahsholtz Family: 3 Generations of Racing to the Clouds.” Enjoy our Hill Climb artifacts and ephemera, including an authentic 1922 vintage race car.
