95th Annual Donkey Derby Days

This year’s event is extra special as we also celebrate the 250th Birthday of the United States of America and Colorado’s 150th Statehood Anniversary!

Friday, June 26
Festival Kickoff: Craft, art, and merchandise vendors. Mouthwatering food options and beer gardens. Kid Zone (presented by the City of Cripple Creek) with an expanded area full of inflatables and water adventures. Donkey Derby Days Concert Series kicks off Friday evening and keeps the energy rocking all weekend.

Saturday, June 27
Grand Parade 11:00 am – Join the grand celebration of 95 years of Donkey Derby Days, while also honoring the 250th Birthday of the United States of America and Colorado’s 150th Statehood Anniversary. Donkey Races – Two days of exciting races featuring both amateur and professional participants. NEW! Professional Race – Test your limits on a scenic course through picturesque Cripple Creek.

All weekend long. Live music. Family-friendly fun. Community celebration. Western charm and donkey-sized excitement.
