Story of us Walking Tour: The Pikes Peak Region From A-Z

The Story of Us: The Pikes Peaks Region from A – Z helps you explore the history of the area by connecting the landscape and geography with the cultural landmarks that form this community.

Through discovery of the physical landscape, you can learn about the people, places and events that make the region unique and go back in time to understand how neighborhoods, businesses, climate and transportation have shaped our region. Where do you fit in? As you walk from the museum to Platte Avenue, you will explore the rich history of the built environment of downtown Colorado Springs. This premium summer program will be offered on June 9 and July 14.

This is a 75 minute walking tour that goes from the museum to Platte Avenue. The tour will start in the Story of Us exhibit and head outside. Please dress for the weather. Good walking shoes, water and sunscreen are recommended! While all ages are welcome, this tour is designed for an adult audience.
