Green Means Go

Learn the anatomy of a sock by working from the cuff down and the toe up.

In this class you will complete a tiny pair of socks using these 2 different construction methods.

The materials fee includes a pattern for full size, adult socks that can be worked using either method.  We will cover cast on, bind off, heels and yarn choice.

Student supply list: The first week a set of US size 2 dpn, paper, and a pen.

Class Level: Fascination – These classes will introduce you to a new skill, concept or technique and are open to all levels. The student may, however, be required to have a basic skill or have taken a certification class.

For example, for a flat-pattern drafting class one need not know anything about flat-pattern drafting but should have a basic understanding of the sewing machine. Any prerequisites will be listed in the class description.

Instructor Bio: Sara has been dabbling in fiber art since childhood. She got serious at age 19 when she decided to conquer crochet. It snowballed from there; she has since learned to knit, dye, spin, weave, does design work and repairs, and loves to teach these skills to others.
