- Rob Fulton on guitar
- Deirdre McCarthy on fiddle
- Craig Haughton on upright bass
- Skye Lewis on drums
The group came together in 2013 and began covering a huge variety of genres, as well as writing their own original tunes. Inspired by bluegrass, blues, funk, and rock spanning eras of music both old and new, the band members have incorporated their individual styles to create their own unique sound. The instrumentation of Woodshed Red generates and upbeat positive grassy sound, intertwined with funky, untamed improvisation. They deliver high energy artistic performances at various festivals, bars, and private events.
Woodshed Red is one of the hottest bands in Colorado Springs, a four piece ensemble that mixes bluegrass influences with a danceable, roots rock groove. The band is known for its high energy covers of popular songs as well as for its original material.
Lasting from November 1 to December 31, the Give! Campaign is an effective, efficient and fun annual philanthropic platform that provides valuable media exposure, volunteers, board development and much-needed financial support to excellent, innovative and often little-known Pikes Peak region non-profits. As the non-profit responsible for presenting the annual MeadowGrass Music Festival over Memorial Day weekend in Black Forest, the Rocky Mountain Highway Music Collaborative is proud to participate in the Give! Campaign for a third straight year. Rocky Mountain Highway works cooperatively with other businesses and organizations to present live music throughout the region and advance the careers of our talented local musicians and songwriters.
