Family Fourth

Make Rock Ledge Ranch your tradition for Independence Day!

The historic homes will be open. Witness a re-enactment of a Revolutionary War encampment and hear the Declaration of Independence.

Honest Abe will read the Gettysburg Address, and Patrick Henry’s daughter will recite her father’s famous speech “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death!”

Visitors can also meet General William Jackson Palmer and Teddy Roosevelt while patriotic music resonates throughout the site.

Carnival games are available in the barn.

Bring a picnic or support a local food truck vendor, and enjoy it on the Orchard House lawn.

Pie, lemonade and cold watermelon will be available for sale.

The general store is the perfect place to buy an old fashioned soda, bag of popcorn, and a souvenir!
