The vision of the Casey Jones Music Fest is to create a community-oriented folk music festival that blurs the line between performer and audience. This festival is a place where world class musicians and songwriters take the stage and roam the campground. There will be music-oriented workshops on site, and time to hang out in the campground area and relax, play and listen to music with your friends.
The festival will be held at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort with tent camping and hotel rooms on-site!
Friday's lineup includes:
- Moors and McCumber
- Top Prasada-Rao
- Will Pfrang
Saturday's lineup includes:
- Matt Cox
- Archtop Eddy
- Jeremy Facknitz
- Christopher Smith
- House of Joy (Kid's Stage)
Music starts at 6 p.m. on Friday (Open Stage 5 to 6 PM) and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Music-oriented workshops are held between 3 and 5 p.m. on Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The kids stage is open from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Bring comfortable clothing - festival is outdoors so be prepared for changing weather conditions. Bring low-back festival seats or lawn chairs and/or blankets/tarps for seating on the ground. Food, beer, wine vendors will be on-site (cash sales for alcohol).
Main stage performances will end around 9:00 p.m. with song-circles and jamming in the festival field and campground to take place after the main stage shows end. So, if you play, bring your instrument and stick around to jam and listen to non-amplified acoustic music after the show ends!
