Instructor Bio: I started knitting at the age of 14 when I was taught the basics by my best friend’s mother. I have knit constantly since - through college, grad school, and careers as a librarian, technical computer networking trainer and various computer network and storage product manager positions.
I have lived in New York, Massachusetts and now, Colorado. I have traveled extensively in the US and Europe – visiting yarn shops whenever I could. I am fascinated by live theater and I dabble in music.
When my last company merged for the second time in 2002 there was a general offer for an early retirement. I took the offer with great joy.
Since then I started my own company, Pickle Jar Creations, to sell my original patterns online through Ravelry and Craftsy and to provide classes to local yarn shops.
