Basic Color Theory with Colored Pencils

In this 3 week class we will delve into the basic principals of color using colored pencils as our medium.

It is easy to follow books when learning different techniques of various mediums but understanding the principals of color, how our eyes perceive tones and values, is better understood in the process of creating art.

The principles you will learn in this class can be applied to any medium.

I find colored pencils to be a very meditative medium. They are very portable and easy to work with in whatever space you have, as well as drawing outside. Come and gain a better understanding of color as you learn several techniques of using colored pencils!

Basic drawing skills are required.
