Sleigh Rides and Dinner – Month of December 2018 – Enjoy sleigh bells with a carriage or sleigh ride at M Lazy C Ranch. Entertainment and dancing are included with your dinner. Reservations are required, and seating is limited. Rides will take place snow or shine. A special appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Claus will take place December 21.

Festival of Lights Parade – Saturday, December 1, 2018 – This annual December holiday season celebration includes cultural and artistic programs, decked out floats, performances and other festivities for the entire family to enjoy.

Madrigal Banquet at Glen Eyrie Castle – Thursday, December 6 & 20th, 2018 – Set in the grandeur of the castle’s Great Hall, this 16th century-style banquet is sure to fill you and your stomach with awe this Christmas season. Full of festive entertainment by talented musicians and performers, this classic Colorado tradition is guaranteed to be unforgettable.

Gold Camp Christmas – Thursday – Saturday, December 6-8, 2018 – Christmas in Cripple Creek and Victor is a special time of year. Holiday activities will kick-off with the nightly Gold Camp Christmas Holiday Headframe Lighting. Take a drive (with your favorite Christmas tunes playing) on a self-guided tour through the area featuringr mine headframes  decorated with large Christmas light displays.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Electric Safari – December 7 – January 1, 2019 – ‘Tis the season for lights, animals and holiday spirit at America's only mountain zoo. Take in nearly one million sparkling lights illuminating the crisp winter night, warm up at one of the fires throughout the zoo and stop in to see Santa (through Dec. 23).

Royal Gorge Route Santa Express – through December 30, 2018 – The Santa Express is a winter wonderland where passengers are encouraged to wear cozy pajamas and relax with family and friends. Sip complimentary hot cocoa and a cookie on the way to The North Pole. Santa sees lots of visitors, so reservations are highly recommended.

Pikes Peak New Year’s Fireworks – December 31, 2018 – At the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, the AdAmAn Club fires off a spectacular fireworks display, which on a clear night, can be seen for hundreds of miles along the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies and eastern plains.

Cave of the Winds Mountain Illumination Festival – through January 5, 2019 – Join Cave of the Winds Mountain Park for the first annual Mountain Illumination Festival. Experience Williams Canyon dressed to impress with a quarter of a million lights in all its winter wonderland glory from the comfort of your car.

Skate in the Park – through January 21, 2019 – Enjoy a real 4,675 square-foot ice rink located on the west side of Acacia Park. The rink is a collaborative effort between the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services and Downtown Colorado Springs.
