Festival of Lights Parade – December 2, 2017 – This annual December holiday season celebration includes cultural and artistic programs, performances and other festivities for the entire family to enjoy.

Madrigal Banquet at Glen Eyrie Castle – December 2, 7 - 9, 14 - 16, 20 - 22, 2017 – Set in the grandeur of the Castle’s Great Hall, this 16th century-style banquet is sure to fill you and your stomach with awe this Christmas season. Full of festive entertainment by talented musicians and performers, this classic Colorado tradition is guaranteed to be unforgettable.

Sleigh Rides and Dinner – All of December 2017 – Enjoy the bells with a carriage or sleigh ride at M Lazy C Ranch. Entertainment and dancing are included with your dinner. Reservations are required, and seating is limited. Rides will go on, snow or shine. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be there on December 21.

Vintage Market Days – December 8-10, 2017 – Vintage Market Days is an upscale vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings and a little more.

Gold Camp Christmas – December 8 & 9, 2017 – Christmas in Cripple Creek & Victor is a special time of year. Holiday activities will kick off with the nightly Gold Camp Christmas Holiday Headframe Lighting. Take a drive (with your favorite Christmas tunes playing) on a self-guided tour through our area as our mine headframes are decorated with large Christmas light displays.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Electric Safari – December 8-10, 15-23, 25, 2017 – ‘Tis the season for lights, animals and holiday spirit at America's only mountain zoo. Take in nearly one million sparkling lights illuminating the crisp winter night, warm up at one of the fires throughout the Zoo, then stop in and see Santa (through Dec. 23).

Royal Gorge Route Santa Express – through December 28, 2017 – The Santa Express is a winter wonderland, where passengers are encouraged to wear cozy pajamas and relax with family and friends. Sip complimentary hot cocoa and a cookie on the way to The North Pole. Santa gets lots of visitors, so booking reservations early is recommended.

Skate in the Park – through January 15, 2018 – Enjoy a real 4,675 square-foot ice rink located on the west side of Acacia Park. The rink is a collaborative effort between the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Services and Downtown Colorado Springs.

Pikes Peak’s New Year’s Fireworks – December 31, 2017 – At the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, the AdAmAn Club fires a spectacular fireworks display, which on a clear night, can be seen for hundreds of miles along the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies and eastern plains.
