Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center Earth Day Celebration

Date: April 18, 2015

Earth Day at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center will be celebrated in April this year. The festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 3:00 p.m. Earth Day activities and programs are free and open to the public. Some of the activities to enjoy include Native American Dancer Performances, live animal presentations, children's craft activities, nature walks and free admission to Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site. Earth Day Trail Cleanup with UpaDowna

April 22, 2015 - 9:30am-Noon

Help UpaDowna celebrate Earth Day week by cleaning up their adopted trail! Meet at America the Beautiful Park and make your way south along the Pikes Peak Greenway. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. The adoption of this trail is in partnership with the City of Colorado Springs. A brief safety meeting will take place before the cleanup and lunch will be provided for volunteers. For more information and to register visit UpaDowna.org.

Earth Day Celebration

Celebrate the Earth in Woodland Park! Mueller Naturalists will be with our partners in Environmental Education at the Aspen Valley Ranch today. Also celebrating the E3 school program students!
