This makes about ½ gallon at 40 proof. It doesn’t taste strong so sip carefully.
21 oz Apple Cider (I prefer unfiltered)
½ can of frozen Apple juice (to make 42 oz)
1-2 cinnamon stick (leave in for a week or so then remove)
1/3 cup brown sugar
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp allspice
1/8 tsp ginger
1 bottle Blue Fish Pikes Peak Clear
Combine all ingredients except alcohol in a big pot, heat to boiling, then cool.
Once at room temperature add alcohol and bottle. Store in the fridge, it will get better with age. Remove cinnamon sticks once desired amount of cinnamon is reached.
