Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo & Parade

Be sure to check back in May 2017 for Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo and Parade 2017 dates!

Get ready to Rodeo —with four performances of invitational championship rodeo and a finals championship Shoot Out on Saturday night. The best athletes in rodeo will compete for top prize money in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding.

This all takes place at the scenic Norris-Penrose Event Center—one of the finest places in the country to enjoy the sport of rodeo. Plan to get your tickets early because this is going to be a sell-out. The 76th Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo is for the true fan and the first timer and everyone in between.

The Cinch Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo in Colorado Springs has been around since 1937 and highlights top rodeo talent and action including bull riding, bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, women’s barrel racing and more. Tasty food and unique retail vendors are located throughout the venue. Family-friendly fun starts before the show with gold panning, pony rides, mechanical bull rides and more.

The free to watch Pikes Peak or Bust Parade kicks off the action the day before the actual rodeo starts. The western cultural parade will make its way down Tejon Street in the center of Downtown Colorado Springs. The Pikes Peak or Bust Parade includes bands, floats, riders and more. All money raised by the parade program and entries go to local military charities.
