Description:Garden of the Gods Park is a 1319 acre registered National Natural Landmark of both scenic splendor and recreational opportunities. Imagine dramatic views, 300-foot towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak. Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center is the gateway to the Park offering free park maps, guided bus tours ($5/adults, $2.50/children; summer only), and nature walks.
This world class Visitor Center offers a NEW, educational, 14-minute, HD multimedia show: "How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?”. The show includes fascinating cultural & geological history of the area and makes you feel like an eyewitness to the formation of the Park. ($5/adults, $2/children).
Enjoy over 30 state-of-the-art interactive exhibits including the world’s only Theophytalia kerri fossil, discovered in Garden of the Gods Park in 1878.
