Located at 106 East Kiowa, the recently opened PB & Jellies is on the northeast corner of Kiowa and Tejon with an out-of-the-ordinary but impressive menu.

Shooting for nostalgia, PB & Jellies has a feel of old-fashioned with its wood floors, wood tables, and walls the color of warmed peanut butter. While enjoying your meal, the mood is carried through with the nostalgic music of such artists as Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, and Simon and Garfunkel.

The owner's sister, Valerie Romero, is not only a manager at PB & Jellies , but also makes the peanut butters fresh daily on site. There are unique flavors such as chocolate, white chocolate, regular, cinnamon raisin, and spicy thai. The jellies are made locally by a gourmet chef, and in addition to the quaint jelly bar, you may even purchase some of Buela Bees Best Jellies and Butters unique flavors to take home. And don't foret to purchase some of their yummy jars of peanut butter to take home too.

You may have your sandwich grilled or cold. Two of the most popular items are THE ELVIS, which comes with your favorite peanut butter, nuts, bacon, bananas and honey (sorry, no mayonnaise), and THE FLUFFERNUTTER, a combination of your favorite peanut butter and marshmallow cream.

Not in the mood for a PB&J today? Then enjoy their delicious half pound and pound deli sandwiches that include standard fare, plus the very popular Sabrett Hot Dog, directly from New Jersey. Also on the menu is a veggie sandwich, bologna and cheese, grilled cheese, and a unique recipe they call the East Meets West which is a combination of a family recipe pork green chili, combined with a NY Knish!

In addition to a wide variety of drinks, PB & Jellies offers Kool Aid. Not just a glass of Kool Aid, but a jug of the childhood favorite in original-style pitchers.

They are open Sunday through Wednesday from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. And on Thursday through Saturday, they stay open until midnight for the busy Downtown Colorado Springs nightlife crowd.
