Young Life’s Frontier Ranch and Trail West in Buena Vista, Colo., and Crooked Creek in Fraser, Colo., offer premier facilities, pristine settings, exceptional food and excellent service to make an ideal weekend or a week-long retreat. Each property has a unique personality:
· Frontier offers two large-group meeting facilities, generally hosts groups of 35 – 500 and keeps the hot springs-fed pool open all year round. “We’ve found here at Frontier Ranch that the setting is perfect,” says John Eldredge of Ransomed Heart Ministries.
· Crooked Creek, a property with the rustic feel of high mountain lodges, has a large meeting room and several dorm lobby meeting areas, and hosts groups as small as 75 or as large as 560. Located near the Rocky Mountain National Park, there are plenty of trails available for hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.
· Trail West is uniquely equipped to cater to groups, individuals, families and couples. The main lodge allows for all activities to take place under one roof – so there’s no need to run in and out of the cold weather to get to your next event. “We are big fans of Trail West,” says author Max Lucado.
Each of the properties offers plenty of attractions that will keep guests active. Conveniently located near several resorts, all three properties make the perfect location to host ski weekends and getaways at reasonable prices.
Young Life's Colorado camps are generally available during the off-season, from mid-August to mid-May, for use by church, parachurch and other non-profit groups.
