The Village at The D&B Ranch is just a short four mile drive off Highway 67 between Divide and Cripple Creek. The property is adjacent to the 12,000 acres of Mueller State Park and the area offers a wide variety of activities. Beautiful hiking trails are available in Mueller State Park and throughout the surrounding Pike National Forest. Nearby Eleven Mile Canyon with its South Platte River has some of Colorado's best trout fishing, as do a number of close-in lakes. The creek running through the property is filled with brook trout, offering some challenging angling right at home. Gambling is a popular attraction and can be had only 10 minutes away at the historic boom town of Cripple Creek. Wildlife abounds in the region, and it is not uncommon to view Bighorn sheep, mule deer, and elk from within the cottages. History enthusiasts will enjoy the area's rich and colorful past, and day trips to the old mining town of Victor or tours of turn-of-the-century mines are sure to please.
