The Old Town GuestHouse was newly built in 1997 as a bed and breakfast. The three story brick building is in perfect harmony with the 1859 period construction of the historic Old Colorado City . The GuestHouse is located on the site of the 1892 city hall, fire station and jail which was surrounded by saloons, gambling parlors and brothels. Ongoing restoration of Old Colorado City has enhanced its beauty without diminishing its charm.

Old Colorado City was founded in 1859 as a "Pikes Peak or Bust" gold rush town. The original building burned in 1990. Today the GuestHouse stands at the gateway to Old Colorado City , the "heartbeat of Colorado Springs."
