This year Cripple Creek Fourth of July Celebration will feature live entertainment in the City Park located on the corner of Bennett Avenue and 1st Street. Food vendors and a beer garden will be available. While you're here, be sure to check out special 4th of July promotions in Cripple Creek's casinos, and visit Cripple Creek's fun attractions that showcase our area's rich history. Admission to our Cripple Creek Fourth of July Celebration is 100% FREE and runs from 8am-5pm!
Take a walk through history this July 4th from 10am - 5pm at the Rock Ledge Ranch Family Fourth. Visitors have an opportunity to walk through the reenactment of revolutionary war camp, hear General William Jackson Palmer read the Declaration of Indepence, talk with Katherine Lee Bates, play carnival games and more. Tickets are available for carnival games for a nominal fee. Events will be held throughout the day.
The biggest show in town will be the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Fabulous Fourth summer concert at Memorial Park. This free event is fun for the entire family. Don't miss patriotic favorites and Tschaikovsky's 1812 Overture. A variety of food will be available for sale, and picnics are welcome.
The Dinosaur Resource Center is celebrating our military personnel this July 4th. As our small way of saying thank you, active and retired military personnel will receive one half off regular admissions on our nation's birthday.
See the Royal Gorge in a way you never have. As reconstruction moves forward, the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park is open during the weekends with guided tours to give you a view of the Gorge. Ride across the bridge in a Park bus, and experience this once-in-a-lifetime view. The SkyCoaster will also be available to ride during this time. Tickets are $10 per person.
It's time to fly with Adventures Out West's 3rd Annual 4th of July Flag Flying Festival! Start your 4th of July with a little adventure and a lot of patriotism. AOW will host a flag flying festival at Pikes Peak Ziplines. Show your American pride by flying the Red, White, and Blue. $45 per person for unlimited zipping between 8:30-10:30 AM. Summer is for clowning around, and there's no better place to experience that than at the Millibo Art Theatre. World-Famous clown, Jim Jackson, takes back the stage for the Millibo Art Theatre's summer Ice Cream Theatre extravaganza! His show, Art Guffaw, is a laugh and a half for kids and adults alike, and will be the perfect way to end a gorgeous summer day! After each performance, Ice Cream Sundaes will be served. This is the perfect family outing, and you don't want to miss it! Showtimes are July 5, 6, 12, 13 @ 7pm. Tickets $11, children under 2 free.
Enjoy a big Fourth of July within a small town atmosphere. Celebrate America's birthday in charming Florence, Colorado. The fun Wet n Dry Parade will delight children and adults alike. Shoot water guns at the parade floats and enjoy the music, vendors and free family activities. The festivities continue in Canon City with music, watermelon and fireworks in the park that evening.
Don't let the fun stop after the fireworks. On Saturday July 5th, head over to the Ride for the Brand rodeo. The fun starts at 4:30 with the Western Smokeout BBQ Dinner, with the Championship Ranch Rodeo beginning at 6:30. Rodeo tickets can be purchased online and dinner tickets are available at the door. For families looking for something fun to do on the Fourth of July, Cheyenne Mountain Resort will have an All American holiday celebration featuring drink specials, live jazz music on the terrace, and a seafood buffet.
